Dr. Soudabeh Ahadi is a board-certified OB-GYN and the founder of Monroe OBGYN, where she has proudly cared for women and families in the Monroe community since starting the practice in 1982. Whether caring for a first-time mother, guiding a patient through menopause, or performing gynecologic surgery, she takes the time to listen, answer questions, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Ahadi earned her medical degree from Tehran University, where she also served on the Faculty of Medicine. She completed her internship at St. Luke's Hospital and her residency at Germantown Community Health Services. She is proud to practice alongside her son, Dr. Pakideh, bringing together trusted experience and modern approaches to women's healthcare.

Outside the office, Dr. Ahadi is a proud mother of two and grandmother of seven.

Dr. Martin Pakideh is a board-certified OB-GYN specializing in gynecologic surgery. Known for his approachable style and commitment to patient education, he believes every woman should feel heard, respected, and confident in her care — taking the time to make sure each patient understands her diagnosis, her options, and what to expect from surgery.

Dr. Pakideh earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, a master's degree from Wayne State University, and his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his OB-GYN residency at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital. He went on to complete advanced training in robotic gynecologic surgery, female pelvic medicine, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and urinary incontinence treatment.

A recognized expert in his field, Dr. Pakideh has trained surgeons from hospitals across Michigan in advanced robotic techniques. For his patients, that expertise often means smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery. He is proud to practice alongside his mother, Dr. Soudabeh Ahadi — the founder of Monroe OBGYN — combining generations of trusted experience with the latest advances in women's healthcare.

Dr. Andrew Young is a family medicine physician who provides compassionate, personalized care for patients of all ages. He takes the time to educate, listen, and create care plans tailored to each person's needs — and whatever health concern you bring him, his goal is to either have an answer or guide you to the right specialist.

Dr. Young earned his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency and Obstetrics fellowship at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, where he continues to practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Physician Specialties in Family Medicine Obstetrics — a combination that lets him care for the whole family: guiding mothers from preconception through pregnancy and delivery, then caring for baby as they grow. He especially loves welcoming first-time moms, and offers the convenience of booking mom's postpartum visit and baby's checkup together in a single trip.

Her advice to every patient: no question is ever off-limits or "TMI" — don't hesitate to ask, and bring a list if you need to.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Toledo and her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health from Wayne State University. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), she brings advanced expertise in caring for women through perimenopause and menopause — including hot flashes and night sweats, mood changes, vaginal changes, and decreased libido — and is listed in The Menopause Society's directory of certified providers.

Dr. Melani Kekulawala ("Dr. K") is a family medicine physician with advanced fellowship training in surgical obstetrics, and the newest member of the Monroe OBGYN team. Her mission is to empower women through compassionate, evidence-based care at every stage of life — and she is one of the few female physicians delivering babies in Monroe. Known for connecting easily with patients of all ages, from young children to teens, she partners with each patient to make informed decisions about their health.

Dr. K earned her Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Toledo, completing her Family Medicine residency and a Surgical Obstetrics fellowship at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. After living and training in Monroe for the past four years, she is proud to care for the community she calls home.

Yolanda Sanchez is a registered nurse and experienced nurse injector who is passionate about helping patients look and feel their best through personalized aesthetic care. With nearly a decade of nursing experience, she combines medical expertise with an artistic eye to create natural-looking results that enhance each patient's unique features — in a welcoming environment where patients feel confident, comfortable, and empowered.

Yolanda began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse before earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Monroe County Community College and becoming a Registered Nurse. She continually expands her knowledge through advanced training in aesthetic medicine and the latest skin rejuvenation technologies.
