
Bridget McLaughlin
Bridget earned her Diploma in Nursing from St. Vincent School of Nursing Toledo, Ohio. She worked in Emergency and Neuroscience at St Vincent Hospital for a year. Following her time at St. Vincent Hospital she moved to Labor and Delivery at Mercy Memorial Hospital. During her time at Mercy Memorial, she has worked with the Michigan Hospital Association (Keystone Project) to initiate patient safety bundles to the hospital. These bundles help to bring staff together to provide safe quality care to all moms and babies. In 2013 , earned a Bachelor in Science of Nursing from Ohio University. After 18 years in Obstetrics, and a strong desire to give more to women’s healthcare she earned a Masters of Science in Nursing with a Certification in Midwifery.
Bridget is passionate about empowering women to listen to their bodies and discover their own strength. She enjoys facilitating, and supporting families through informed decision making. She brings the same value of respect and empowerment to non pregnant women seeking gynecological care. Bridget holds many certifications including: certified in Maternal- Newborn Nursing, Advanced and Basic life support, Neonatal Resuscitation, and is an instructor in both Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitor.
Bridget grew up in Lincoln Park, Mi, and has lived in Monroe for the last 20 years. She is married, and has 3 very active and inspiring children. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking when possible, scrapbooking, and chocolate.
